FTS brought Will Robillard-Cole, founder of WRC Management (home to Kaytranada, Kitty Cash, Sango, & more), to Austin for a first-of-its-kind workshop with Austin-area students & young professionals. We collaborated with Will to develop a curriculum composed of 5 key lessons, over he lectured & presented his experience on before diving into immersive group & individual exercises with the students.
We recruited a number of sponsors, whose contribution varied from food support to scholarships for students. We coordinated media coverage of the event & an on-site media team, & at the end of the recap included below is a list of all the involved sponsors. At the end of the workshop, Will formed a WhatsApp group with all the students where all participants remained in contact to this day, keeping one another updated on their journeys & sharing opportunities.
